What is Dermetry?
Dermetry is an AI skin analysis platform. You scan your face with your phone camera, the engine scores a set of skin attributes such as clarity, texture, redness, and evenness, and you get practical guidance based on those scores. Businesses embed the same engine on their own sites through Dermetry Pro.
Do my photos leave my phone?
No, not by default. The scan is processed on your device. Nothing is uploaded or stored unless you explicitly opt in, and any future opt-in will name exactly what is stored and why.
Is Dermetry a medical device?
No. Dermetry offers skincare guidance, not diagnosis. It does not detect, diagnose, or treat any medical condition. If you have a concern about your skin, see a dermatologist.
What is the Glow Score?
The Glow Score is Dermetry's overall skin score, built from the individual attribute scores in your scan. It gives you one number you can track over time as your routine changes.
How accurate is the scoring?
Scores are computed by a calibrated computer vision engine and the same photo always produces the same score. Lighting and camera angle affect any skin photo, so Dermetry guides you toward consistent capture conditions and treats trends across scans as more meaningful than any single scan.
When does the Dermetry app launch?
